Roundup
Best ClearFeed alternatives for an agency
Agencies shopping for a ClearFeed alternative are usually picking among three jobs. Keep ClearFeed when Slack Connect needs tickets at a published per-agent or per-channel price, with a private draft mode. Thena and Suptask win a published small-team Slack helpdesk. Pylon and Unthread win B2B support in shared channels. eesel wins AI on a helpdesk you already run. Lindy wins work across apps with approval on outside impact.

What agencies hire ClearFeed to do
ClearFeed is a Slack-native helpdesk. External Helpdesk is the product for customers on Slack Connect, plus email, web chat, Discord, Teams, and a portal. Starter is $24 per agent per month for 1–15 agents, or usage from $40 per month for 10 channels and 100 tickets. Professional is $49 per agent and includes the AI pack. Annual plans take 15% off.
A Virtual Agent can answer in the request thread, automatically or on an emoji. An Agent Assistant drafts in a private triage channel for a human to send. Each Collection uses exactly one of those modes. Starter includes two-way sync with ticketing systems such as Zendesk and Jira Service Management; Salesforce Service Cloud is excluded on Starter.
Shared Slack Connect channels sit on Slack Pro and above; the Free plan only allows one-to-one external messages. Slack has no native owner on a thread, so a 9pm client ask can sit while three people each assume someone else replied. One unsupervised reply in that channel is how agencies say you lose the account. Pick the alternative by that split: a cheaper published Slack desk, a quote-only B2B platform, AI on a helpdesk you already run, or a teammate that still waits before send. A wider priced set lives on the AI tools roundup for agency client Slack.
The seven alternatives
Seven products. Concrete is last because it is ours.
- Suptask. Suptask is a Slack-native ticketing system. External Slack Connect channels sit on every plan. Starter is $15 per agent per month billed annually ($18 billed monthly) for a single-team inbox. SLA management and AI knowledge answers start on Growth at $38 billed annually ($45 billed monthly). 14-day trial, no card.
- Thena. Thena is a Slack-native B2B helpdesk: tickets, SLAs, CSAT, and auto-responses inside Slack. Starter is $29 per user per month billed annually, up to five seats and 1,000 tickets, Slack and email. Standard is $79 and adds AI auto-responses.
- Unthread. Unthread turns Slack messages, DMs, and threads into tickets so agents can assign, reply, and close without leaving Slack. Pro is $75 per agent per month with a five-seat minimum. Enterprise is custom. A 14-day trial is available after a demo.
- Pylon. Pylon tracks issues from Slack Connect, bundles related messages, and gives the team Internal Threads. A Support Agent can resolve questions end-to-end; Slack Agent is internal only. The public pricing URL is a demo form. The head-to-head is on Pylon vs an AI teammate.
- eesel. eesel answers from connected help docs and tickets. A ticket or a chat is 1 credit, with no per-seat charge. Teammate starts at $299 per month for 500 credits; 100 free credits, no card. Each action is Auto, Needs approval, or Disabled. Always allow switches that action to Auto.
- Lindy. Lindy is a Slack-native teammate with 1,500+ integrations. Anything with outside impact waits for approval. Always allow exists on each connected account. Team starts at $29.99 per user per month for 3,000 credits; every active user is billed, including an @mention in Slack after a 7-day trial. The head-to-head is on Lindy vs an AI employee.
- Concrete. Concrete is an AI employee that works in existing Slack channels. Drafts land as Send / Edit / Skip cards; there is no auto-send mode. Follow-ups survive reboots, and a person's verdicts become written rules. It is in design-partner preview. The longer thesis is on the vision page.

The caveat that should decide the shortlist
The failure mode agencies name first is an AI that talks to the client unsupervised. One wrong reply can cost the account. Put that gate in writing before you install anything in a Slack Connect channel. How to run an agent in a shared client channel is on using an AI agent in a Slack channel shared with a client.
ClearFeed's Virtual Agent answers in the request thread; Agent Assistant drafts in a private triage channel, and a Collection can run only one of those modes. Thena's Standard plan includes AI auto-responses. Pylon's Support Agent can resolve what it can without a tap; Slack Agent does not run in Slack Connect. eesel can move a reply from Needs approval to Auto, including with Always allow. Lindy waits for approval on outside impact, with Always allow. Concrete has no auto-send mode: a person taps Send, or nothing goes out.
The quieter failure is a client ask that nobody owns. A helpdesk gives the thread an owner and an SLA. A teammate keeps the promise made on the call. Pair them if you need both. A reminder posted in a Slack Connect thread is visible to the client, so keep the nudge off that thread. Overnight coverage is a different split, on how agencies keep client Slack answered after hours. A send-gate teammate is on an AI assistant that drafts replies and waits for approval.
Questions people ask
Should an agency keep ClearFeed or switch to another Slack helpdesk?
Keep ClearFeed when Slack Connect needs tickets at a published per-agent or per-channel price, with Agent Assistant drafting privately. Suptask and Thena win a cheaper published small-team desk. Pylon wins Internal Threads and omnichannel support, quote-only. A ticket logs the ask. It does not, by itself, keep a promise made on a call.
Can these tools send a reply to a client without a person tapping send?
Most agencies treat an unsupervised client reply as the failure that costs an account. ClearFeed's Virtual Agent can answer in-thread. Thena's Standard plan includes AI auto-responses. Pylon's Support Agent can resolve end-to-end. eesel can set a reply to Auto. Lindy waits on outside impact, with Always allow. Concrete has no auto-send mode.
How much does a ClearFeed alternative cost for a small agency?
Published floors as of 10 October 2026: Suptask Starter $15 per agent billed annually, Thena Starter $29 per user billed annually, Unthread Pro $75 per agent with a five-seat minimum, eesel Teammate $299 per month, Lindy Team $29.99 per user. Pylon and Concrete have no public price. Slack Connect itself needs Slack Pro.
What is the difference between a Slack helpdesk and an AI teammate for client channels?
A Slack helpdesk such as ClearFeed, Suptask, Thena, Unthread, or Pylon turns a shared-channel message into a ticket with an owner and an SLA. An AI teammate such as Lindy or Concrete sits in the channel and drafts or runs work. A ticket logs the ask. A teammate keeps the promise made on a call. Many shops need both.

If your team already runs its work in Slack, start with one role in one channel. Concrete is an AI teammate that works in your Slack channels and asks a person to approve before anything goes out. It is not a chatbot builder, and it never sends on its own.
