Comparison
AgencyAnalytics vs an AI that drafts the weekly client update in Slack
AgencyAnalytics is a white-label reporting platform for agencies: 85+ connectors, a branded client portal, scheduled web-report emails, and an in-app approval gate before a send. An AI that drafts the weekly client update in Slack is a different job: it writes the so-what next to open asks, in the channel the team already uses, and a person still taps send. Keep the dashboard. Use the Slack draft for the Monday write-up.

What the split actually is
AgencyAnalytics is a white-label reporting platform for agencies: 85+ connectors, a branded client portal, scheduled web-report emails, and an in-app approval gate before a send. An AI that drafts the weekly client update in Slack is a different job: it writes the so-what next to open asks, in the channel the team already uses, and a person still taps send.
Account leads at 2-to-40 person PPC shops, and freelance media buyers with a handful of Google Ads and Meta retainers, still type that Monday note by hand. The dashboard is often already live. The bottleneck is CPC went up, here's why, here's what we're changing, plus what the client still owes. A reporting tool that emails a web report is not that note. A Slack KPI alert is not that note either.
The send gate on a scheduled dashboard is a neighboring job, on how to automate weekly PPC reports without sending them unchecked. Widget commentary is a third job, on AI that writes the commentary for Google Ads client reports. Work across ads tools from Slack is a fourth, on Viktor alternatives for an agency.
Which job each one wins
Fund the row that matches the leak. A white-label portal, an in-app Monday summary, and a so-what in Slack are neighboring jobs.
| Job | Wins it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| White-label client portal, 85+ connectors, scheduled web-report emails | AgencyAnalytics | Core is $20 per client per month billed annually, as of 11 October 2026. Unlimited reports, staff, and client users. Custom domain, logo, and colors are included. Automated reports email a web report, not a PDF. |
| Pause a scheduled dashboard report until a person approves it | AgencyAnalytics | Require Approval holds the send, notifies you in-app, and waits. Review widgets or add context, then Approve and Send. Pause a schedule by toggling Schedule Active off. |
| AI summary on the report, plus a Monday brief and a draft client-update email inside the product | AgencyAnalytics | AI Summary writes a page, a chart, or a full report. AgencyAI includes a skill to draft a client update email, and scheduled prompts such as a Monday morning summary that land in that client's conversation history. Included on every plan, no usage limits. |
| Simple white-label dashboards billed by dashboard count, automated email dispatch | DashThis | Individual is $44 per month billed yearly, or $54 billed monthly, for 3 dashboards and 15 sources. AI Insights Free is four presets: Summary, Opportunities, Wins, Issues. Automated email dispatch is on every plan. |
| Unlimited clients, billed by data source, Slack KPI alerts, scheduled PDFs | Swydo | One plan is €62 per month billed annually for 10 data sources, then €4.50 each through 100. Unlimited clients. AI summaries sit on reports and scheduled emails. Slack alerts fire when a KPI or goal needs attention. They are not a weekly write-up. |
| House-style commentary on a governed report, automated PDF emails | Whatagraph | IQ Agents ship on Max and Prime. Max starts at €999 per month billed annually, from 50 source credits. Automated emails with PDF. Prime is custom. Both start with a demo. |
| Google Ads and Meta into a custom Looker Studio report | Looker Studio plus Supermetrics | Supermetrics Starter is $44 per month billed yearly for one destination and 3 sources. Looker Studio is the dashboard. The Monday so-what is still a write-up. |
| A builder-maintained workflow with a wait before send | n8n | Cloud Starter is €20 per month billed annually. Community Edition is self-hosted on GitHub. Human review can pause a send tool until a person approves. |
| One shared employee across thousands of tools, scheduled tasks from Slack | Viktor | Team starts at $50 per workspace per month for 20,000 credits, no per-seat charge. 3,200+ integrations. Scheduled tasks and crons. A priced set of alternatives is on the Viktor roundup. |
| The written so-what in Slack, open asks next to the numbers, a person still sends | Concrete | Drafts each client's weekly report in the agency's Slack. Numbers from Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4 or a Google Sheet, pulled before the words. Send / Edit / Skip; no auto-send. Design-partner preview; see what it is. |
What AgencyAnalytics is, from its own pages
AgencyAnalytics is a reporting and insights platform for marketing agencies. Core is $20 per client per month billed annually, as of 11 October 2026, with a 14-day trial and no card. That rate includes unlimited data sources, reports, dashboards, staff, and client users, 85+ integrations, a white-labeled client portal, report scheduling, report approvals, AI Summary, AgencyAI, MCP access for ChatGPT and Claude, goals, alerts, and anomaly detection. Rank Tracker and AI Tracker are paid add-ons. The public page shows the annual rate; monthly plans exist, and the dollar amount for monthly is not on that page.
Scheduled delivery is email. Create a scheduled report and it sends daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually with no further action after setup. Require Approval is a toggle on that schedule: at send time you get an in-app notification, you review, you can edit widgets or add context, then Approve and Send. The reports table shows how many are awaiting approval. Pause a schedule by toggling Schedule Active off. The report FAQ is exact on PDFs: automated reports are not emailed as PDFs. Clients download a PDF from the web report. Default sender is noreply@clientseoreport.com unless you set a custom address. Historical reports are kept 60 days.
White label covers logo, colors, custom domain, and custom email. AI Summary is a widget on a page, a chart, or the full report; the text is editable; auto-refresh on a scheduled report runs the first time someone opens it after send. AgencyAI answers from the same live data, cites the report behind each figure, and ships skills that include draft a client update email. Schedule any prompt daily, weekly, monthly, or once; a Monday morning summary lands in that client's conversation history inside AgencyAnalytics before the team logs on. Alerts land in the in-app inbox, not in Slack. There is no native Slack path for the weekly report.
What the Slack-draft job is
The Slack-draft job is the Monday write-up in the channel the account lead already lives in. It is not the portal. It is not a scheduled web-report email. It is CPC, CPA, ROAS, why it moved, what's next, plus open asks and what is waiting on the client. Operators still say the data pull is the part that is already automated, and the storytelling is still manual. A live dashboard still needs a write-up if the retainer promised one.
AgencyAI's draft client-update email and Monday morning summary are a first pass on the dashboard data, inside AgencyAnalytics. Swydo's Slack path is a KPI or goal alert, not a weekly so-what. Viktor can schedule work from Slack across thousands of tools; the priced alternatives for that breadth sit on the Viktor roundup. None of those, by themselves, is a so-what sitting next to open asks in the agency's Slack, held until a person taps send.
Concrete is an AI employee that works in existing Slack channels. Each week it drafts every client's status report in the agency's Slack: what shipped, open asks, what is waiting on the client, and that week's numbers from Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4 or a Google Sheet. The numbers are pulled before the words are written. The account lead edits and sends it. It never sends a report to a client by itself. Drafts land as Send / Edit / Skip cards. There is no auto-send mode. It is in design-partner preview. It does not replace a reporting dashboard, change bids or budgets, or alert on ad anomalies overnight.
The caveat that should decide the shortlist
The failure operators name first is a model that writes the narrative and posts it. One auto-posted weekly summary called a dip trending in a healthy direction. The numbers were fine. The story was not. The team stopped trusting the summary because a weekly report exists to say when to worry. The story still has to be allowed to be bad.
A second caveat is where the draft lands. People in a Slack Connect channel can see messages from bots and apps. A half-right so-what in the shared client channel is an unchecked send. Keep the draft in the agency's Slack. Safety of putting an agent in a shared client channel is on the shared-channel page.
A third caveat is collapsing the dashboard into the write-up. AgencyAnalytics wins the portal, the connectors, the scheduled web email, and the in-app approval gate. Keep it for that. The Slack-draft AI wins the so-what next to open asks, with a tap before anything reaches the client. Pair them. Do not swap one for the other. The longer thesis is on the vision page.

A practical setup for a 2-to-40 person shop
This is the boring version that holds when the account lead still writes the Monday note. Pin it before the next auto-send.
- Name the two jobs. The dashboard is the portal, the connectors, and the scheduled web report. The Slack draft is the so-what, open asks, and what the client owes. Fund both. Do not treat one as a replacement for the other.
- Keep AgencyAnalytics on the dashboard row. Connect Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4. Give the client a branded portal. Turn on Require Approval so the scheduled email waits. AI Summary and AgencyAI are a first pass on the widgets, inside the product.
- Draft the so-what internally. What happened, why, what's next, plus open asks and what is waiting on the client. Keep that draft in the agency's Slack, not in the Slack Connect channel the client can read.
- Pull the numbers before the words. Spend, CPC, CPA, ROAS, and the week-over-week deltas, computed first. The model writes from those figures. If the source is missing, hold the report.
- A person still sends. Read the numbers against the source. If the week dipped, the write-up has to say so. Send is a tap on the exact text the client will see. Skip drops it. There is no auto-send on the client-facing note.
Questions people ask
Does AgencyAnalytics send the weekly client report in Slack?
No. AgencyAnalytics emails a scheduled web report, or shares a portal and a link. Clients download a PDF from the web report. Slack is not a native send path. A Slack-draft AI writes the so-what in the agency's Slack. Keep the dashboard. Draft the Monday write-up where the team already works.
Can AgencyAnalytics pause a scheduled report until a person approves it?
Yes. Turn on Require Approval on the schedule. At send time, AgencyAnalytics notifies you in-app, holds the report, and waits. You can edit widgets or add context, then Approve and Send. That gate is for the emailed web report. It is not a Slack draft the account lead taps in-channel.
Does AgencyAnalytics email a PDF on the schedule?
No. The product FAQ says automated reports go out as web reports, not as PDFs. Clients download a PDF from the web report after it arrives. DashThis, Swydo, and Whatagraph do email PDFs or dashboards on a clock. A schedule is a send. Approval is a separate toggle.
Should the Slack draft of a client update land in a channel the client can see?
Keep the draft internal. People in a Slack Connect channel can see messages from bots and apps. A half-right so-what in the shared channel is an unchecked send. Draft in the agency's Slack. A person still sends the client-facing note. Posting it there is the same as sending it.
Does AgencyAI replace the weekly write-up in Slack?
No. AgencyAI can schedule a Monday morning summary and a draft client update email. Those land in that client's conversation history inside AgencyAnalytics. They are a first pass on the dashboard data. The Slack write-up sits next to open asks and what the client owes, and a person still sends it.

If your team already runs its work in Slack, start with one role in one channel. Concrete is an AI teammate that works in your Slack channels and asks a person to approve before anything goes out. It is not a chatbot builder, and it never sends on its own.
